SPOKANE, Washington — The Fernwell Building is proud to be host sponsor for the Raw Space exhibit during the upcoming Visual Arts Tour. Located in the Heart of Downtown Spokane, The Fernwell will be a perfect stop between galleries and events for hundreds of area art goers.
Raw Space is an artist-organized exhibition, which transforms vacant space into temporary art galleries showcasing new, emerging and established artists from our community. The Raw Space exhibit will be featured throughout the Northeast corner retail space of The Fernwell Building which once housed Rock City Grille and Proactive Communications. Participants in the event will have the opportunity to view and purchase works by local artists, while viewing one of Spokane’s premier retail spaces. “We are excited to open-up our doors to the public while supporting area artists and our community.” commented Fernwell Manager Allyson Shoshana.
Raw Space will take place Friday, February 5th, 5-9pm; Saturday, February 6th, 10am-5pm; and Sunday, February 7th, noon-4pm. The Fernwell Building is located at 505 W. Riverside in Spokane, WA.
